Our Programs, Services and Vision
Our programs and services are designed to align with our vision of enhancing the well-being of our community. We offer a range of programs that focus on eight key areas: Physical Health, Meaningful Use of Time, Community Vitality, Leisure & Culture, Environmentally Friendliness, Democratic Engagement, Living Standards Enhancement, and Education. Each of these programs is designed to address one or more of these areas and make a positive impact on the lives of our patrons.
We are committed to providing top-quality programs and services that meet the needs of our community and align with our vision. We take an holistic approach to well-being, considering physical, mental, and social factors, and strive to create programs that are meaningful and relevant to the people we serve. Our goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of our patrons and improve the overall health and vitality of our community.
The Modern Seniors Program
In the past twenty-four months our Modern Seniors initiative designed to help seniors in our community, their family and friends better understand the modern society; and new development and responsibilities that comes with it. Our programs target four areas of interest:
1. modern personal lifestyle,
2. modern family structure,
3. modern social life model and
4. modern social values
Our Modern Seniors initiative includes the following activities:
1. Prescription drug delivery service
2. Meal delivery service
3. Provide health related gift-packs to seniors-in-need
4. Establishment of Opera1.tv, our on-line community platform to keep isolated individuals connected
5. Regular visitation to known seniors in isolation
6. Regular delivery of entertainment seniors staying in old-age housing and long-term-care facilities
7. Promoting volunteerism among seniors and other generations
8. Engaging members in the community through mentoring others
9. Supporting social participation and inclusion of seniors
New Programs in Development
As always, we are constantly striving to deliver new programs to meet the ever-changing needs of our community. The following new areas of interest are being intensely studied by our program development committee:

Strengthening awareness of elder abuse, including financial abuse awareness of elder abuse, including financial abuse
Supporting social participation and inclusion of seniors
We anticipate these initiatives will help members of our community, of all age groups, to lead a happier, healthier and more prosperous life.
Our Long-Term Goals
One of our long-term goals is to recover from the pandemic in a resilient and efficient manner, while continuing to provide high-quality programs and services to our community. To achieve this goal, we are looking for innovative ways to deliver our services, particularly to seniors, who may have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic.
We are also researching and developing more efficient models for social service delivery, as we believe this will be key to our organization's ability to recover from the pandemic and continue to effectively support our community. By building the skills and knowledge base of our organization, we hope to ensure that we have the resources and expertise necessary to serve our community in a sustainable way.
Overall, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our patrons and working towards a strong and sustainable future for our organization. By proactively addressing the challenges posed by the pandemic and looking for more efficient ways of operating, we hope to emerge even stronger and better able to serve the needs of our community.

We all have 24 hours a day. Our goal is to help certain people learn to make effective use of their time.
